How to Bridge WMTx from Base to World Mobile Chain

If you hold WMTx on Base and want to use apps that live natively on World Mobile Chain (WMC), you can bridge your tokens in just a few steps.

This follows the WMT → WMTx migration guide and the Cardano → Base bridging guide.

Why bridge to WMC

  • Direct use of WMC-native apps as they launch
  • Access to future EarthNode Staking
  • Participation in upcoming governance and reward programs
  • Faster transactions with lower fees on a telecom-grade chain

Before you start

Make sure you have:

Tip: always double-check the URL before connecting your wallet.

Step 1: Connect your wallet

  1. Open the Arbitrum Bridge.
  2. Click Connect Wallet.
  3. Choose your Base-compatible wallet.
  4. Approve the connection.

Step 2: Choose what to bridge

  1. Set Source Chain (From) to Base.
  2. Set Destination Chain (To) to World Mobile Chain (Mainnet).
  3. Select WMTx as the token.
  4. Enter the amount you want to bridge.

Step 3: Confirm and pay gas

  1. Review all details carefully.
  2. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  3. Pay the ETH gas fee on Base.

Step 4: Wait for finalization

The bridge will transfer your WMTx from Base to WMC. This may take a few minutes depending on network activity.
Once complete, your new balance will appear on World Mobile Chain (Mainnet).

Keep your WMTx safe

Bridging tokens is one of the riskiest moments in crypto. Fake links, phishing sites, and rushed clicks can cost you everything. That’s why The Club strongly recommends pairing your bridge activity with a hardware wallet.

The Trezor Safe 5 keeps your WMTx and other assets protected, even if the site you’re visiting turns out to be malicious. Your private keys never leave the device, so malware, phishing, or SIM-swap attacks can’t reach them.
