Questions About World Mobile Plans

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions about World Mobile’s plans:

  • Are the plans strictly prepaid? In other words, does the service only run for the period you’ve paid for? If I decide to cancel after a month or so, how do I ensure I won’t incur extra charges?
  • Are there any hidden or unexpected fees I should be aware of?
  • Is the main difference between the $59 and $85 plans just the priority data allowance? Do speed and coverage remain the same for both?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey @anon29495696 :waving_hand: welcome to the community!

Here’s the simple version:

How billing works

  • Month to month. You only pay for the period you choose.
  • No contracts and no cancellation fees.
  • If you want to stop, turn off auto-renew and let the month run out. No extra charges.

Fees

  • No hidden or surprise fees.
  • Optional add-on: Turbo Boost 1 GB for $5 if you need a little extra high-speed data mid-cycle.

Plan differences

  • Same coverage and the same 4G/5G network access on both plans.
  • The main difference is the priority high-speed data:
    • Essential 59: 10 GB per month
    • Advanced 85: 30 GB per month
  • After you use your high-speed allowance, data is still unlimited at reduced speeds until your next cycle starts.

Quick pick

:check-green: Light to moderate use → Essential
:check-green: Heavier streaming, hotspotting, or work → Advanced

If you share how much data you use in a typical month, we can help you pick the best fit.
