Does World Mobile Have a Data Cap?

I want to know if World Mobile’s Essential and Advanced plans come with any data limits. Are there any restrictions on high-speed data, or is it completely unlimited?

Hey @anon51823003 :waving_hand: welcome to the community!

Both the Essential and Advanced plans do include data limits for high-speed use:

  • Essential: 10GB of high-speed data each month
  • Advanced: 30GB of high-speed data each month

After you reach that monthly allowance, you’re still online with unlimited data, but speeds are reduced until the next billing cycle resets. If you ever need more, you can add a 1GB Turbo Boost for $5.

A few extra points worth knowing:

  • During times of heavy network congestion, traffic may be temporarily slowed or deprioritized to keep service fair for everyone.
  • World Mobile doesn’t block or throttle based on the apps you use, though video may be optimized depending on your plan (think 480p on basic tiers, HD on premium).
  • When the new cycle starts, your high-speed data resets and speeds go back to normal.

So the short version: there’s no “hard cap” that cuts you off, but the Essential and Advanced plans do have defined high-speed data levels, with slower speeds after you pass them.
